I really appreciate him reaching out and giving us a chance to work this out. I am completely satisfied with my experience at Chloe’s. Hopefully we won’t need to see Zach for a while, but if my car needs anything, I know I can rely on him and the team to get it done confidently! Original Post: I wanted to support a local business in Paulding County, so I brought my vehicle to Chloe's to fix an engine rattle that only occurred when the AC was running. They diagnosed it as a bad engine mount, and I paid $700 for the replacement. When I drove off, the rattling was significantly worse than when I arrived. When I called back, instead of standing by their diagnostic, they threw out a list of other potential issues totaling another $1,400. On top of that, they quoted separate work with a 25% markup over standard retail parts pricing. Frustrated, I took the car to another repair shop for a second opinion. They claimed that Chloe's had installed a low-grade aftermarket engine mount, which caused the increased vibration. The new shop replaced it with an OEM part for $650, and the rattle was completely gone. I essentially threw away $700 at Chloe's for a botched repair. The only reason this is a 2-star review instead of 1 is that the front-desk customer service was pleasant, but the mechanical competence and diagnostic accuracy were completely lacking.”
