The Ultimate Guide to Oil Changes

Regular oil changes are the single most important thing you can do to extend the life of your engine.

What Motor Oil Does

  • Lubrication: Reduces friction between moving engine parts
  • Cooling: Carries heat away from critical components
  • Cleaning: Suspends and carries away contaminants
  • Protection: Creates a barrier against corrosion and wear

Conventional vs. Synthetic Oil

Synthetic oil flows better in cold weather, resists breakdown at high temperatures, and lasts longer between changes. Most modern vehicles are designed for synthetic or synthetic blend oil.

How Often?

  • Conventional oil: 5,000–7,500 miles
  • Synthetic blend: 7,500 miles
  • Full synthetic: 7,500–10,000 miles

Our oil changes include fresh oil, filter, and a complimentary multi-point inspection.
