General Service Technician Position Overview:

As a General Service Technician, you are responsible for being able to efficiently complete essential automotive maintenance services. The General Service Technician will perform tire and wheel related duties such as rotate, mount and balance tires. Additionally, performing oil changes and maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of the service department. A candidate who is a bilingual Spanish/English speaker is preferable, but not required. We will train the right person!!!

Responsibilities

• Change Oil
• Rotate, mount and balance tires
• Perform simple maintenance service items
• Ability to perform alignments is a plus
• Complete work accurately and quickly while customers wait for their vehicles
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, guidelines and safety standards

Qualifications

• Experience preferred - Entry level acceptable
• Outgoing and positive attitude
• Self motivated / Responsible / Energetic
• Polite and professional demeanor
• Physically able to perform all job duties

Master Technician Position Overview:

Chloe’s Auto Repair is looking for candidates who are passionate about automotive careers to work in our air-conditioned garage! Auto Technicians ensure that all customer vehicles are able to accurately diagnose problems and service properly, while company procedures and policies are followed and every customer is treated with the utmost courtesy at all times.

The ideal automotive Technician will be self-motivated, professional and shows a high level of customer service skills. As a Chloe’s automotive Technician, you will be responsible for reviewing work orders and vehicle history, document codes, etc. It is essential to communicate repairs to the Service Writer, additionally checking all parts for verification.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all vehicles meet top quality repair standards

• Review and complete work orders

• Check history and previous recommendations made for the vehicles

• Test drive the vehicles prior to and after repairs have been made

• Document all vehicle codes present

• Verbally and visually explain all repairs to the Service Writer

• Ensure that the vehicle is properly repaired in a timely manner

• Perform preventative maintenance inspection

Qualifications

• Must be able to scope and perform gas and diesel diagnostics

• Able to follow proper diagnostic procedures

• Outgoing and positive attitude

• Motivated, energetic, and customer-focused

• Pass a pre-employment background check

• Basic computer skills.

• Exceptional customer service skills

• Must have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift up to fifty (50) pounds

• While on the job, employees must be able to walk, stand, bend, stoop, twist, etc. for extended periods of time

• Ability to work in all weather conditions

• Requires use of hands to perform activities involving holding, grasping, pulling and turning
